Data Dictionary

The following data dictionary was created considering data from the process and ICHOM as displayed in Table 1. In the 'Variable ID' column, this table enumerates the essential variables for collection. The 'Item' column provides a detailed definition for each variable. The 'Reference' column identifies the source of the variable, indicating whether it is derived from the Process, ICHOM standards, or a combination of both. The 'Timing' column specifies the phase in which each variable is collected, categorized as Pre-Hospital Phase (P), Acute Hospital Phase (H), or Follow-up and Rehabilitation Phase (F). 'Terminology' details the specific terminology used for each variable. Finally, the 'FHIR Resource' column links each variable to its corresponding resource in the FHIR framework. This comprehensive mapping formed the foundational basis for the development of the FHIR IG for stroke, encompassing all its artifacts.
